Remember that the floods will not last forever
And you have every good chance to recover
Within you there's a resilence to discover
Be resourceful with no wasteful leftover
While you may be temporarily down and out with wet sorrow
Remember the promise made with the very first rainbow
Believe there will always be a much brighter tomorrow
Without having the governments forever to borrow
Come on up and out of the water's muddy surface
There are still so many important tasks to face
Tackle them one by one at the right pace
Till you get back onto the best place
With true grit handle the flood situation
It's a very serious but not helpless position
When all parties give their full cooperation
There'll be speedy recovery and restoration
