WHAT MUST BE
I let a river into my heart
with trust of meandering me on . . .
to a grassy bank of windmill
where pollens drift at willwhat must be beautiful.
In the rapids of my mind
I brave the waterfall and all . . .
till down by the sea a kingdom stands
and many a sandcastle pleases me
for what must be beautiful is.
