What On Earth Is Happening?

WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING?

When what is written is not read

When what is spoken is not heard

The poor feet have to march to be noticed

The poor body has to take uninvited chemical bath

And never forget the song "Smoke gets in your eyes!"

Sometimes the silence is so deafening

Sometimes the reasoning is so appalling

Sometimes the reaction is so disappointing

Sometimes the pestilence is still so demanding

Sometimes we all wonder, "What on earth is happening?"

Every Day Is Special

EVERY DAY IS SPECIAL

Monday is often the day to feel truly blue

When you have to work again without a clue

Tuesday is the day to eat your favourite food

When your stomach learns to recognise what's good

Wednesday is when your biorhythm is at its best

When you can do all you can without any rest

Thursday is the day when you're in luck

When you're no longer any person's lame duck

Friday is for some the good TGIF lovers

When things are available with or without covers

Saturday is recognised by some as the Sabbath

When they go for their regular religious bath

Sunday for most people is officially the day of rest

When you can take it in either life's jungle or forest
