Let's all join in to take good care of the environment

Whether or not we belong to the NGOs or governments

Let's all come together with the same urgent commitment

Failing which we will all suffer similar fates and detriments

With the present environment once gone with no replacement

Regardless of whether we stay in shed, hut, bungalow or apartment

We are still responsible for all of ours and future generations' betterment

And we must all begin to concentrate now, before too late, on water catchment

Doing what needs to be done quickly & professionally with complete detachment

Leaving aside always, for universal good, all petty & minor political engagements

Ensuring that genuine sustainable environment is nobody's imaginative figment

Making sure that no one walks on this same earth without wearing any garment
