Too much restlessness turn and toss
Hope you won't be the victim at a loss

Know when to play stupid or clever
Don't rush too much till you get fever
With only way to cool by jumping into river
3. Spare the rod and spoil the child
Lest your treatment is considered too mild
Wrongly encouraging the child to be freely wild
With over protection and real spoiling to gild
4. Nothing ventured, nothing gained
Don't live a sheltered life fully chained
Or as though like an animal maimed
Locking yourself up and being pained
5. Too many cooks spoil the broth
Too many tailors spoil the cloth
Too many cobblers spoil the sole
Too many 'preachers' confuse the soul
